Beaded Earrings - Teal Rivoli and Crystal Fringe Earrings by Mava Seaman
Teal Rivoli and Crystal Earrings - by Mava Seaman
These earrings are made with 3mm Square beads formed in a triangle using brick stitch.
A teal flat back Rivoli is glued to the frame and size 15 Czech seed beads were stitched into the triangle to make the bezel for the Rivoli.
The fringe is done with gold glass 5mm bugle beads, teal, gold, and purple Czech size 13 seed beads, 4mm teal crystal bicones, and 7mm teal crystal drop beads. The ear wire is teal-colored titanium. The wire can be switched to silver or gold if needed.
I have been beading since the mid-1990s and am self-taught. When I started beading, I mainly used Bead&Button magazine and made some of their many projects until I learned enough techniques and stitches to begin designing my own things. I enjoy making beaded projects using different stitches and styles and rarely make the same design twice. I have rarely sold any of my pieces. Then, on a whim, I decided to start making earrings and barrettes to sell on Etsy in October 2021. I am considering expanding to include bracelets and necklaces.
I love to see other bead artists' work and share ideas and techniques.
I will consider bespoke, as well. Just message me!
