In 1992 I was commissioned by The Oregon Coast Aquarium to design a commemorative poster. I chose to depict 3 types of wildlife the Aquarium presented in their exhibitions - coastal birds, fish and sea mammals. The design format is a "triptych", meaning 3 panels of related composition - a Great Blue Heron, fish, and Sea Otter. Each animal is accompanied by a few habitat-related flora and fauna.
The poster was received with great success and there has been demand for the individual panels to be available separately. So I am now, finally printing each panel as an archival quality giclée print, signed and numbered and available in 3 sizes. The Fish is the second panel of the original design.
The artwork is designed in Adobe Illustrator. I print the giclée myself on a Canon Pro-100 on Red River Aurora Art Natural 285, 100% Cotton Rag, Museum Grade, Heavy weight. The editions are signed and limited as follows: 14x20" - 75 copies; 10x14" - 100 copies; 8x12" 125 copies. Each print is signed and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. The prints are carefully packaged flat with plenty of padding.
If you are looking for a larger and less expensive alternative, the original triptych poster is also available - please check out the collection of posters - these are out of print editions that are not available anywhere else.
